Andres Ilves’s career as a journalist has spanned the BBC, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, and currently Middle East Broadcasting Networks. His command of languages from Dari to Pashto to Swahili has taken his work across Africa, Afghanistan, and beyond. Andres has also worked in the NGO and local government sectors and is a frequent speaker on issues relating to journalism and to the regions he has covered.
