James Jones

What is the cost of speaking truth to power? In Putin’s Russia, it could mean your life.

An immersive and chilling documentary, Antidote follows in real time a whistleblower from inside Russia’s poison programme, Vladimir Kara-Murza, as he attempts to escape, a prominent political activist who is poisoned twice and now stands trial for treason, and his wife Evgenia, and Christo Grozev, the journalist exposing Putin’s murder machine as he is told his life is in danger and is forced to go on the run himself.

Emmy-winning filmmaker James reveals the human cost of heroism, with incredible access and insight into the lives of those fighting for change against a tyrannical regime that will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo.
