Gaza: Doctors under attack

Commissioned by: Channel 4

Ramita Navai, Karim Shah & Jaber Badwan

Directed by Karim and reported by Ramita, this forensic investigation exposes the devastation of Gaza’s healthcare system amid Israel’s ongoing military campaign. Filmed under extraordinary danger, the documentary reveals how hospitals and medical staff have been systematically targeted, leaving doctors to operate in ruins, often without power, medicine, or safety.

Jaber filmed under bombardment, capturing intimate testimonies from doctors and families risking their lives to save others. Through deep local collaboration, the filmmakers secured rare access to frontline medics and underground medical sites, documenting courage and resilience with care and precision.

The result is a searing portrayal of endurance and humanity amid collapse — a testament to the bravery of those who filmed and those who continue to heal under fire.
