Rob Turner

Rob has been a camera operator and editor at ITN for the last 24 years, capturing a huge range of stories from across the world. For six years, he was based in Washington DC, covering every major news story from the Sandy Hook school shootings to the elections of Presidents Obama and Trump and winning a White House News Photographers Association award. His career has included filming Royals and world leaders, shooting on Mount Everest and sending reports back from a number of conflict zones.

He now runs the Crew department at ITV News and is passionate about supporting and developing both crews in the field and the next generation of camera operators. Rob strongly believes that we have a responsibility to report without bias from areas of conflict, to help protect humanity from the worst of itself and shine a light on injustice and corruption wherever it is found.
