We work with a wide network of international and local partners. These partnerships enable us to reach freelancers in countries where it is difficult to operate and to provide additional support where needed. The Programme operates in four main ways:
provide financial assistance to freelance newsgatherers in crisis, and to those who have been seriously injured or are suffering persecution, exile or imprisonment as a result of their work. They also support the families of those who have lost their lives.
