TRAUMA FUND FOR AFGHAN JOURNALISTS

We have launched a dedicated Trauma Fund for Afghan Journalists so that they may continue their vital work of reporting the news for Afghanistan’s people even in exile.

Please note: this fund is only open for referrals from partner organisations

About the Fund

Our Support

Aims to help the Afghan journalist community recover from the seismic changes in their country, and to protect this vulnerable group of people, who have contributed to the fight for democracy and freedom of speech in their country.

Our dedicated Trauma Fund for Afghan Journalists provides therapy and access to psychological treatment to support Afghan freelance and staff journalists as they rebuild their lives and careers in exile.

This fund will also offer Afghan health workers who wish to deliver their services in aid of the journalistic community with psychosocial training.

We are working closely with our partners on individually referred cases.
