Freelancing in Libya

Freelance journalists in Libya face acute professional and safety challenges, which makes it hard to build a sustainable career, whatever their skillset. This resource is here to help.

From improving client relationships and safety protocols, to building professional networks in the region, this resource provides essential information, tools and advice for Libyan freelancers, at all stages in their career.

This resource forms part of a two-year project, "Strengthening Skills and Improving Safety for Independent Journalism in Libya", funded by the UN Democracy Fund - their first devoted entirely to freelance journalism.
