The Rory Peck Awards 2018 are now OPEN FOR ENTRIES!

Established in 1995, the Rory Peck Awards are uniquely dedicated to the work of freelance cameramen and camerawomen in news and current affairs worldwide.

Freelancers are invited to submit entries for this year's competition in the following three categories:

(Duration: up to 10 minutes)

RORY PECK AWARD FOR NEWS FEATURES
This award honours the work of freelance cameramen and camerawomen in news features that look beyond the immediacy of the news.
(Duration: up to 20 minutes)

SONY IMPACT AWARD FOR CURRENT AFFAIRS
This award honours the work of freelance cameramen and camerawomen in long-form current affairs that examines a single issue, story or situation and has an impact on the viewer, policy or public awareness.
(Duration: up to 60 minutes)

Across all categories, the awards recognise quality of camerawork, but also take into account individual endeavour and journalistic integrity.

All entries must have broadcast between 1 July 2017 and 31 May 2018.
