Introducing our new low-bandwidth site

To better ensure that freelancers everywhere can access our website, we're pleased to announce the launch of a new mobile-friendly version, optimised for areas with slower internet.

Many freelancers work in remote areas where internet access is limited, unstable or slow. As an international organisation, our site and resources are designed to be relevant to all freelance journalists, no matter where they are.

To make sure we are able to reach as many people as possible, a new low-bandwidth version of our site is available as of today at

The low-bandwidth version has the same key information and content that features on the main site, from the latest news about our work to our resources for freelance journalists, it's just simpler, with fewer images. So if you haven't checked out our freelance resources they're definitely worth exploring.

Let us know what you think!

As always, we welcome feedback and responses from the freelance community. How does the site work for you? Do you find it easy to use? What content and resources would you like to see in the future?

Let us know by emailing, leaving a comment under this post or by sending a tweet to @rorypecktrust.

Andrew Ford Lyons is RPT's Digital Producer and Project Manager.
