CBS News London runners raise over £12K for RPT

A huge thank you and congratulations to the 24-strong CBS News London bureau team who last Sunday completed the 10k London Run in scorching conditions, clocking up impressive times all round.

Even more impressive was the £12,354.39 that they raised for RPT's Freelance Assistance Fund, smashing their £10k target.

"This was a fantastic effort from the CBS News London Bureau - and not only on the run itself - they all worked so hard to get support from their friends and colleagues everywhere", said Tina Carr, Director of RPT.

"With such a significant sum of money, we'll be able to help many more freelancers this year. So on behalf of everyone at the Rory Peck Trust - a massive thank you to all those who donated to this great event - we are so grateful to all of you."

It's not too late to show your support with a donation at the CBS runners' JustGiving page.

And you can see photos from the day at our Facebook page.
