CBS News tackle London Triathalon for RPT

Nine news teams will be swimming, running and cycling in memory of fallen colleagues.

CBS News are triathalon training to honour colleagues Paul Douglas and James Brolan who were killed in Iraq in 2006.

"It’s been nine years since we said goodbye to Paul and James who were cruelly cut down on a Baghdad street by a terrorist bomb", says bureau chief - and triathalon swimmer - Andy Clarke. "Its been nine years when we’ve never forgotten them.  In this ninth year we will remember them by running, cycling and swimming in the London Triathlon in Hyde Park in August."
Each team will swim 750m, cycle 20km and run 5k with the aim of raising £20,000 for our work.
"This sort of money can make a real difference to the work that we do", says Tina Carr, Director of the Trust. "At a time when we are getting more requests for assistance than ever before, it would be a fantastic boost. This is a huge fundraising effort from Andy and his team and we will be there to cheer on every single one of them. "
To date, CBS have already raised more than £6,000 through their JustGiving page but there is still a way to go. Please give as much as you can to help them to reach their target.
As Andy says, "Your donations will inspire the unfit, rally the restless and support a great charity – please give generously."
Please give whatever you can to support their efforts and keep an eye out on our Twitter and Facebook feeds for updates on training and news about the big day.
