Gareth Montgomery-Johnson and Nick Davies-Jones back home in UK

The Welsh freelancers, who were freed by the Libyan government on Monday have been reunited with their families.

Gareth and Nick were working for Iranian Press TV, when they were picked up by Libyan militia group, the Misrata Brigade, in Tripoli on 22nd February. They were accused of entering the country illegally and held for several weeks before being handed over to the Government last Wednesday.

The Trust has been in regular contact with Gareth's sister, Mel Gribble, during the last few weeks.  She told journalists last night that she was "absolutely exhausted" and "relieved" after speaking to her brother.
