Tina Carr accepted the Mike Baldock Award at GTC's Annual ceremony.

Tina Carr, director of the Trust, attended the Guild of Television Cameramen's 42nd Awards ceremony in Oxfordshire on 17th May to collect a prestigious award on behalf of the Trust.

The Mike Baldock Award was given in recognition of RPT's "valuable service to television." The Trust was also the recipient of the event's' raffle proceeds which raised around £1,000 for our work.

The Rory Peck Trust was set up in 1995 to provide assistance to freelance cameramen, camerawomen and their families. Their welfare, safety and recognition will always be our priority, so we are delighted by this honour.

"I really would like to thank the GTC - who’ve been supporters and friends for many years - and all of you behind the cameras", said Tina on accepting the award. "Freelancers are some of the bravest and most vulnerable people in the business. That is why this award – and your support – mean so much to us."

Thank you GTC!
